Research areas

Mainly engaged in virus aetiology and immunology research on foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV), and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses (PRRSV).

Major achievements

1. One First prize and one Third prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Government of Gansu Province .

2. Two awards from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

3. Six new veterinary drug certificates, including one Class I, two Class II, and three Class III certificates. Over 40 national invention patents have been granted.

4. More than 50 SCI papers published as first or corresponding authors.
